Today i.e. 10th, August, 2023 marked a significant milestone as the Department of Sericulture, Govt. of Mizoram signs momentous  Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U) with Department of Biotechnology, Mizoram University, a Central University. The Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U) has the objectives of the Development of Sericulture  by product(Pupae)for military purposes under Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) Govt. of India and Indian Institute of Technology(I.I.T) Guwahati to strengthen Sericulture technologies in Mizoram.  

                         The  Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U)  was signed by Prof. Lalnundanga, Registrar, Mizoram University and Mr. C. Lalrosanga, Secretary to the Govt. of Mizoram, Sericulture Department on 10th 08. 2023 12 : 00 noon
