Regional Sericulture Research Station (RSRS) Imphal Central Silk Board in collaboration with State Sericulture Department conducted survey in Oak Tasar culture in Eastern Mizoram flanking bordering sides of Myanmar during 26-29.06.2024. Survey Team visited Champhai and Khawbung village where concerned village council members, Oak Tasar farmers and survey team had mutual interactions seeking further developmental programs for Oak Tasar culture in Mizoram.

          On 28^th June 2024 survey team from Central Silk Board had meeting with Departmental Officers headed by Mr. V. Zothansanga, Director of Sericulture. In the meeting findings of survey team were deliberately discussed in order to chalk out developmental  programe of Oak Tasar Silk Industry in Mizoram.
